Is It Okay To Be A Technologically Illiterate Teacher?

This blog post from The Fischbowl was nominated for most influential post for the edublog awards. It challenges anyone who thinks it is ok to say things like "I just don't get computers." So go read the post and come back and leave a comment about tech literacy in Webster.

I cannot see teaching without technology. But this comes from someone that (more often than not) gets technology practices and equipment easily. Until we change the content of our classes, there is no need for teachers to change. When our students are driving the teaching - inquiry/passion-based - that is when teachers will need to change.
